Is completely intoxicating. Don't know about drone though, But it sounds pretty minimal.
Whatever my next Audi is, It must have an AWE Tuning exhaust. I would get in SO MUCH trouble with one though.
Also, NPOCP? 2010 A4 with a good service history, and clear title for $15,000. It's too much for me currently, But in the next few years maybe.

You have the non turbo 2.0 right?
I like the way audis look but they just seem like nightmares to work on. At least the high performance versions.
I know of someone(s) who has a s4 and s5 (I assume a couple or roommates never see the owner(s)). They look and sound great.

It's the 12v non turbo 2.8. A pretty good engine, I've written a few things about it's reliability which you can check out if you'd like to. Not gonna force it on you though :)
Some of them, Even myself I admit are pretty unreliable. Doug mentioned that the B6 S4 was a pain to work on, and expensive because of the timing chain that "Lasts the life of the car" that may break at any possible time and cost $8,000 to fix. And I'll admit, that's a pretty big problem, But it's not a bad car. It's just a pretty major flaw in the design.
Some of the engines are more "needy" than the others. But there are a good amount of fairly reliable cars out there, and compared to a bunch of the major electrical and transmission problems that a bunch of new cars are having they're actually doing quite good. The only difference, is that the expensive repairs on new cars are for things that are covered under warranty so it's usually OK with the buyer.

I remember some of your writing on the subject. I'm trying to dispel my preconceived notions about VWs.
